It sort of plays like a bare-bones Castlevania clone, but the control system is dreadful (four buttons are spaced between two corners of the keyboard and the mouse button), the gameplay is broken (you can't hit enemies above you even though your weapon passes through them), and the game goes to a endless black screen after touching a door (requiring you to close and re-open the game). This happens on all systems i've tried the game on (Macbook Air w/ Windows 8.1, Alienware Alpha w/ Windows 7).The game right now is completely broken and I cannot recommend it at all, even for free or on special offer.. There isn't much to be said about this title; You get what you pay for here. It has some simple implementations of item shop/different weapons/leveling up, none of which seems to really impact the experience in any meaningful way. Weapon reach seems to be the only real consideration among the options. Sharing of mana for fireball abilities some weapons have and the jump mechaninc is frustrating. More fun to be had elsewhere, and for free.... I got this game for £0.08 after completing a card set for a much better game. If I were a petty man, if £0.08 were worth my time, I'd refund it..
